Abstract

|
Cysticerocosis in the nervous system is well known and has been reported by several authors worldwide. An intramedullary thoracic cysticercosis case recorded here is, extremely rare.
It was characterized by urinary retention, abdominal distension, paraplegia with anesthesia below- T4-dermatome for 4 years in a 49-year-olid male farmer. We have surgically removed the intramedullary cyst.
Two other our cases of ventricular cysticercosis are also added to our previous reports.
